Arrive S. Gimignano at 10. 30am, a charming little town perched on a hilltop and preserved almost intact since the Middle Ages. Continue to Siena and stop for lunch. Visit the cathedral, the town hall and many masterpieces of Italian painting and sculpture.

Arrive Lucca at 10. 00am, visit the Mansi Palace where the National Gallery is, the Villa Reale and the Botanic Garden. Arrive in Pisa at 01.00pm for lunch. In the afternoon visit the Cathedral, the Baptistery and the leaning tower.

It's a fascinating drive through the hills well known as in this area the famous red wine Chianti is produced. Along the drive there are stops in Impruneta, Tavernelle Val di Pesa, Barberino Val d' Elsa, Greve in Chianti which are typical for it's terracotta craft and old cloisters.
