Driving along the scenic coast road, you'll reach first Ercolano,an old city at the slopes of the Vesuvio and have a sight. Continue to Pompei, stop for lunch and later have a visit to the excavations.

From Naples you drive along the Amalfi coast where you can stop and admire many tiny "typical fishing towns on the Mediterranean Sea. Stop in Positano and Ravello where the beginning of Parsifal has been composed by Wagner.

Driving always along the scenic coast road, you reach Pompei and have visit to the excavations where, if you wish, you can get a local guide too. Continue to Paestum, with a brief stop in Salerno on the way, for visiting the most important museum of the old Greek city represented by the three temples as the Cathedral, the Temples of Nettuno and of Cerere as well as the National archaeological Museum.
